linking up the volume controls... with an aux and the main LR
Open, WishlistPublic

Description

I'd like to use Aux 6 for Subs out. I'd like to be able to link the aux out to the main LR, so that when the volume is increased or decreased, the aux6 send to the subs would follow.

   thanks!

Have you tried using an idca to see if it supports lr and aux 6 out?

Have you tried using an idca to see if it supports lr and aux 6 out?

yes, I've looked at that already. it's currently not possible.

I have figured out a work around... Set the main LR volume, then leave it. Instead, use an IDCA control with all channels assigned on that IDCA. Then use that IDCA as the Main volume, which will operate both the main speakers, and the volumes going out to the subs on aux...

or even better.... use one of the DCA channels as a main volume. Assign what you want to the DCA channel, as well as whichever aux outs you're using for subs.... (have the actual main LR set at +5 or so.... and hide it in a different layer and leave it. Just use the DCA channel as the new Main LR. works great.
