Using mute groups does "lock" a volume fader
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hi!

First of all thanks for the great product, it has been a pleasure to mix!

I'm having a following issue:

  • I do a double finger - double tap to open mute groups. I activate mute group and close the pop-up window, fine.
  • However during this double-tap, program has "locked" the channel volume fader that I have actually tapped: Background color of the fader has changed to blue, and the fader position stays locked even if I switch to different layout. So for example, if I'm using a 8-channel layout and I manage to lock channel number 2, the same blue-fader-position shows also on channel number 10.
  • Removing the lock is quite simple but annoyning: You have to tap the same fader once again, in order to remove the blue colour. Fader stays still on the same place, no matter on which layout you are. This can lead to misleading info: Channel 10 fader can end up showing same position as channel 2 fader in the app, but the actual fader position in the mixer hardware software is different. The only way to get out of this is to jump back and forth between layers, and the faders will jump to their original positions.

This feature can be reproduced in the offline mode ass well. Is this a known feature or am I doing something wrong?
