Description

Hello, it is possible to implement remote control for the Wing Live Recorder into mixing Station?

Platform:
Variant: Wing
Version:

AnonymousTaskBot created this task.

Currently not possible due to firmware limitations. It will be added as soon as it's available

I saw recently that it can be controlled VIA MIDI - is it still not possible to add this to mixing station?

The same limitation still applies. Play/Pause might work but no file management

OK - even if record, stop and play could be added (a mirror of the multi transport part of the user control section of the Wing would be even better) that would be super handy - We're just implementing the WIng and there's a big learning curve for most people, so it would be good if I could start it recording while in the band at the start of a practice and add markers for each song until I can get everyone trained to the level to do this on the Wing itself. I saw that it's possible to start recording and to add markers over MIDI so it might be possible?
Thanks!

I notice that the card parameters seem to be in the OSC documentation now, which seems to include all the parameters for the Wing Live recorder. Does this mean that this can be added soon? :)

Parameter for track control yes, but not for track selection and folder access

Seems to have list of sessions, option to load sessions, change number of tracks, full marker tools etc, or am I missing something? page 56 https://mediadl.musictribe.com/download/software/behringer/WING/BE-P0BV2-WING-OSC_Documentation.pdf

It looks like it has all the parameters that you have on the Wing itself, except for maybe the start and end points for a loop in loop mode. But like I said I may be missing something?

Yes there is still some stuff missing for full functionality (at least for the usb player you can't browse files to create playlists). But the other features should be enough. Don't know why I missed that.
I'll add the usb player and xlive soon

The usb player is implemented in the latest beta. I'm currently working on wlive but there might be only very rudimentary track controls (play/pause/stop/rec) available
