I was also looking for 14 bit CC in the Xtouch compact editor. Pitch bend is possible in standard midi mode but the value range is only 0-127 and there's no custom section.
Maybe I am overlooking something?
I got the latest beta version yesterday. With update you mean bug fixes/features in a version?
After the crash I made a report without comment but with the system logs. Will Android keep a copy of these system logs on my tablet ?
I didn't receive any report yet, sometimes it takes forever for google to process those things.
Is it only insert related or could it also be routing related?
If the android device locks up hard and you're not able to kill the app using the android task manager or the "App is not responding" dialog I would say the OTG implementation on your device is somewhat faulty.
I verified usb midi on a couple of devices and had no issues so far. Maybe can you send me your configuration folder after the app locked up?
Yes since there was no update yet for the XM32 app. But it's already resolved in the backlog
more info. wiped the config directory, program works.
copied in my old config directory, manually loaded the config, and everything works.
Saved default with just layers and layouts, all good.
Saved default with MIDI, and it locks up.
Delete Midimap.mmp, reboot, no change.
Delete settings-default, reboot, and we're in.
Load layers and layouts, save as default, all good.
Reconnect ethernet, still all good.
Looks like it's the MIDI.
hrrrm, continues to lock up.
Burn the X Air folder again, reboot.
It continues to ask me if I should use the (not connected) MIDi device.
And now it's locked up hard again.
Uninstall, dig further with File Manager and delete Mixing Station/x18
Seems pretty likely that there's a config conflict, what with the new directory.
aaaaaaand now it's not downloading the app. Stuck on "Download pending..."
Is there a way to rollback versions on Android? Or a way to access apps directly to sideload?
meterbar does not scale correctly
This all has, I dunno, more visual snap. This is the new platform? Really looking forward to it.
Great! Ah yes another user noticed that the meterbar does not scale correctly guess that collided with your layout
OK, got it, confirmed already fixed. Wow, things have changed. I need to rebuild my layouts. I was using that dead space right of the meter bridge.
Latest for public release. Could be that I accidentally already fixed the issue when migrating to V1.0.0 (latest beta). I'll try again with 0.003 to see if I can reproduce it there.
How old is 0.003.0 (55)? I'm on a train, and I can't get my Android tablets to talk to my mobile wifi.
Does this help or is this still an issue?
Tried to reproduce with snapshots in latest beta -> Did work as expected, no duplicate deletion nor does the wrong item get removed
Scene or snapshot?
This should be fixed with the Pi release of Mixkng station
The new framework uses opengl instead of cpu drawing. Seems like the opengl drivers on the pi are not working correctly
Well, I tried different shows on my X32, and the result is :
- Shows with no insert on channels : works fine
- Shows with some insert on channels : Crash
I've sent a report via the app...
Could not reproduce, works fine
Yes, it makes sense to add tags like "title" and "path" so you can change the label to show both in a different line
Will be added in V1.0 final release

The layout is locked to an orientation. That means you can repositon the controls after changing the ortientation and both positions will be stored
Previous app version was very old - setting migration did fail
Waiting for reply
The issue should be fixed now
Also do you have a device with SD card slot? If so is a card inserted or not?
Is this for XM32 or XAir?

Different slot = Different scope?
Could not reproduce the issue so far. I've tried all delay FX in the latest beta and the tap time was changed correctly

You can copy that entire directory to a computer or Dropbox or whatever. Then you can copy it to a new tablet. I find that it seems to be necessary to reboot each tablet, before copying from and after copying to, for the correct files to appear. Each of my 4 tablets has a different screen size, so I do my basic layout on the smallest one, copy to the others, and expand as needed. On the larger tablets I add buttons and features in the blank spaces.
Yes, I also thought about this and was looking for files for a backup. This is interesting, when you are using different tablets/phones and you want to have the same configuration of Mixingstation on each device. Should not be so difficult to implement a backup-function... But I know, David is working hard on the new version 1.0, so perhaps it will be implemented in this future version...

If the console is used as a monitor mixer, the "Monitor" volume can be used as an extra Bus Master for monitoring via the headphone out. Recently I use a slider for this, but a channel strip type slider would be more intuitive for using in the same manner as the other bus masters.

Maybe the visible volume?
I adjusted some parts of the midi driver, with the next update (1.0.0 (247)) this should hopefully work
What advantage has a channel strip over a slider in that case?

Could reproduce - will be fixed in 1.0.0 (248)

Not sure yet how to reproduce
Not possible due to technical restrictions
