This is not a bug. It's just not supported by the app.
You can use the custom layout feature for assigning features
Sun, Jan 17
This bug is not solved in 1.1.0 (130)
i did a few config changes...no more crashes in 130. Thank you very much! Also the dummy-action...Good Job!
it works in 130. Thank you very much!
I could not reproduce this issue, the selection works as expected (single click to pre-select, double click to select and play)
Thanks for the video, that really helped! A fix is on the way
Here you can see how the crash can be reproduced, i have seen this crash also while editing other existing actions (MidiLabelRef as example). Sometimes also while just deleting an existing action. I don't remember having this issue before 129, but i'm not 100% sure on that.
I could not reproduce this but I'll add the dummy action to the selection
Sat, Jan 16
Release 1.1.0 (125) works as expected
Fri, Jan 15
The next update should fix the issue. The open view action now also shows any open windows and channel views.
Thu, Jan 14
Thanks, I don't see a crash report yet but I'll try to reproduce it tomorrow.
something i just realized and double-checked on a separate pc: the actions of the midi controller Assign-1 and Assign-2 got deleted with the update from 126 to 127. not a problem for me, but you might want to know about.
Hallo David
first impression: Meters, controls and the display is all perfect now! Many thanks!! i will mix a show to see if it is working as expected.
The beta is online now
Tue, Jan 12
Yes, the Meters are now working as expected. thanks for the fast fix!
thanks for your reply...yes, that was the trick :-)
Hallo David
The second thing is not an issue. If the user channel name is empty MS hides the label to show the icon. If you edit the name of a channel it will show both
XAIR 18 Mixer version is 1.7
Please contact support via mail: https://dev-core.org/mixing-station/help/question
The latest beta (from today) should fix the scrolling issues
Sun, Jan 10
please close this ticket. if i can find any useful information i will come back and ask for a solution
Which meter are you referring to? The MCU protocol only has 8 meters (channel 1-8). The protocol does not provide a 9th (busmaster) channel.
If you can find a documentation how to set this meter I can implement it
just found someone else on facebook who has the same behavior on a x-touch
thanks for looking into it
for me, it looks like the same problem we had it a few months ago with the select button who was not following the layer scroll.
solved in ticket 2314 https://dev-core.org/mixing-station/tasks/2314
I agree but the fix might take a bit, it's not that simple in the backend
btw: in the stock mcu, the actions of the buttons ch prev and ch next are reversed, prev scrolls to the right, nenext to the left
I could not reproduce this issue so far. Did you modify the midi settings or is it stock mcu?
Do you have the "channel view" item in your layout? That's probably why
i just added a midi device with mcu and connected to the midi-ports. scrollong through the channels is working, the display is following...just not the meters
yes, you are right. removing the channel view changes the behaivour as long, as the option to open the channel in a seperate window is unchecked. in my opinion, the behaviour schould be the same for all three possibilities (open the view in full screen, in the channel view and in a separate window)
Okay that's great, but it looks like udp broadcast isnt possible with the FritzBox VPN. Or is there a way to do it with this router? Otherwise I guess I would have to set up an openvpn server on one of the computers in the local network of the WING, but Open VPN seems very complicated to me xD
From my research so far the avantis protocol is somewhat similar to the gld so it should be doable. Only limitation so far is that I would need to purchase the mixer for developing the protocol
Vpn works but requires special setup. The device should be in the same subnet and udp broadcast should be tunneled through the vpn as well.
I can remote control the wing using openvpn.
This should be better now in the latest beta
Output level meters for each channel would be very helpful. In our church, I sit in front adjusting pre-fader levels for a Bus that feeds a livestream cell phone camera, and I don't know of a good way to check levels audibly or see the output levels being sent.. Meters on main layer next to channel faders represent input gain - it seems like there should be an option to show these as output levels. I may be missing the obvious as I am a rather newbie with this app and digital mixers in general. Thank you.
This task is from 2018 and not valid anymore. Mixing Station can show post fader meters in the mixer if the mixer supports it (the x32 doesn't).
You can configure this in the app settings.
Thank you. I am using ios and testflight beta is full
