@david i totally understand this. But I would like also to be able to configure the Knobs/buttons for the mixer thru the app ( at least the assignable ones). It's not a big minus but I had the surprise that I couldn't do this weekend and I am using the app for years.
Make sure you have updated 1.3.0 (222) which fixes this issue. If you already have this version let me know
Mixing Station has custom buttons and knobs available, that's why this feature has never been implemented since it's redundant
Hello! Same here... I have an X32, an X32 RACK and an X32 Core....for the X32 and the Core I wanted to change what the assignable buttons do. I had to install X32-Edit on the laptop to be able to do this because from the Mixing Station couldn't do it.
Thanks for letting me know. I figured it might be Apple reviewing it. Much appreciated!
It's already fixed for a week now. The app is in review by apple
How's is the Fixed update coming along. Is the fixed update coming soon?

So yes the team of midi fighter answer to me that it's not prevent for them to chaange the center midi dent value.
Yes then the app was definitely the issue since the 219 build had this bug. Using the new app in your version is fine, it includes the fix.

Its reporting as Mixing Station X Air Pro v1.3.0 (219). I have an Amazon tablet, and it was updated a few days back to that version.
Do you know if you have the very latest version installed (1.3.0 222) the 2nd number is important.
Because a similar issue has been resolved in build 222
We definitely lost the channel names. All the names reverted back to the channel number. The band seemed to indicate that it did more than that, but it was right before a gig and they were panicking a little bit. This would happen every time I connected my tablet with mixing station... The others were using the either the ios XAir app or the XAir edit app. When I started using the XAir edit app on my laptop and stopped using the tablet with mixing station, problem never happened again.
By design for battery saving reasons
You've installed the old app, see https://dev-core.org/ms-docs/platforms/android.html

Open the app, bottom left of the screen.
What do you mean by "doesn't properly sync"?
Hi how do I find my version?
The specified app version doesn't exist. Are you sure you're on the latest version?
There was no change which could introduce such an issue. The only issue might be related to the channel names (since mixing station now also supports icons) but nothing else.

The issue should be resolved in the latest version, let me know if you're still having issues
Yes of course since the mixer doesn't support bus to bus signal routing
Mon, Sep 13
Yes, I just release an update.
The layers are independent of the mixer, you can freely configure the app layers as you want, see https://dev-core.org/ms-docs/layers.html
Yes, in my show config are 4 stereo FX busses. So - if you're right thats the reason of sync problems. Will it be fixed soon? And what is the reason of problems with layers/channels naming?
Are you using a stereo FX? I just found an issue which prevents the sync from working if the GLD show uses stereo FX busses
I can send you my show exported from GLD Editor
Thanks for your feedback! Can you send me your mixers bus config?
The issue might appear depending on the mono/stereo group/mix/fx setup of the mixer

Thanks for your reply!
No, since you need the audio signal to properly calculate the RMS metering value. Also the meters sent to the app are not sample accurate, especially since there might be packet loss. So showing a max peak may be inaccurate
Can’t thank you enough! Looking forward to the release!
There are multiple issues that come to my mind with this (I also thought about it in the past):
- The diagram scale increases by ~ 1/3 which means the ratio display will decrease in accuracy by the same amount. This is especially bad for phones where the diagram will be very small.
I don't have the licenses for the images from A&H which means I have to build each FX graphic myself which takes a lot of time (especially since I'm not a graphic designer).
That's the main reason it hasn't been done yet.
This has already been fixed, the update will soon be released

So much thanks David! All works now including Mix Presets with 1.2.0 (198) Yeah!

One last thing after this whole day of usage :
Midi encoders 1 to 24 have a correct led state whatever i do.
But after 25, when i turn the midi fighter knob lefs are ok, and all is following, but whenn i turn the same thing on the wing, it didn't arrived to the led of the midi fighter (causing a gap and a jump when restarting using midi fighter)
okey thank you David
maybe my message where a bit confusing
I am using your Mixingstation-App and an M32C mixer (so there is no physical interface; but just the app and the rack-mixer
when "invert-colors" is not enabled in the mixer-options of Mixingstation, all is fine within the feature "SoF Background" ! when in Send-on-Fader-Mode all the channel have the right background-color (full if the bus-color is full also; and just outlined when the buscolor is inverted)
thats all okey !!
There is no "inversion", the inverted colors are simply additional colors the mixer sends to the app. So the app doesn't know if it's inverted or not, it just receives a color. So far I wasn't able to reproduce the issue with my mixer
Hello and thanks for your reactivity....
yes I tried also disabling and reenabling but it still works the way I described....
it seems that there is a double inversion concerning the busses
once it inverses the colors of all channel names (thats what we want it to do !!) but as in the same time it inverts also the background-colors regarding to the bus-color there is a double inversion and the background-color is now not anymore the same as the bus-channel-color -> background-color is inverted to the bus-color..!
(I hope that my explanation is not to confusing)
Oh that's great! Thanks
Did you disable and enable SoF after the color change? Otherwise it won't update
@micdim: This is not related to this task but a fix is already on the way
Can you show me how to get back to version 1.1.5 please (version before 1.2.0 update)
Here a video: https://youtu.be/hF9iqzhW1lQ
it works for me now. Choosing the bus (scope) before loading a preset works now to assign the Mix Preset to the target bus. thanks for that super fast fix...helps me to get tomorrows show running
Oh no I updated to 1.2.0 (194) and now it keeps asking to update to 1.2.0 (195) but never updates. It keeps asking me to update every time I open the app.
Did you already update todays release?
Did you already update todays release?
It work as expected! Sorry for this.
I'm on Mac Mojave
Sorry David doesn't seem to work?
Can you please tell me how this is resolved? Is there a new version coming out that fixed the issue?
If your knob sends 0-127 add it as "Fader", NOT as "Knob".
The "Knob" is only used if your midi device sends increment/decrement values, see https://dev-core.org/ms-docs/midi.html#controller-types
Ok. I reput cc as midi event.
Hm, the oldest supported version android is 4.1 and it works fine on my old kindle fire HD
Hi. Yes it still looks like the latest version will not install correctly on old android systems. As an experiment I tried installing an older version of mixing station x32 on the same tablet and it worked.
I don't fully understand this request. If you have a fully configurable device use CC for knobs, notes for buttons and pitch for faders. Then you can add it as generic midi device in mixing station.
Don't hesitate if you want me to test it too in a beta version.
