Do you mean the keypad icon at the top of the mixer view?
So for each mixer configuration of groups, mix mode or group mode, I would have to make a new layout? That seems less than optimal, especially considering that I expect to walk up to a Qu I've never seen, log in, and see what's going on. The A&H app can figure it out without help, so the information must be there.
the level of tracks in "group mode" is the level of "L R".

I hadn't realized it, but Qu groups can be Mix mode, with send levels, or Group mode, without. Mine are in group mode. Changing modes resets all the values, so there's no point in storing send levels in Group mode.
When I select a group on the physical mixer for SOF, the faders stay on the main mix.

Can’t you just unassign one from the mains and send the aux postfader?

That looks familiar.

I would suggest keeping the new handles, but taking the move ability out of the resize mode.
I'm curious as to what the resolution was? Did you go back to the old system where objects would only move on the move setting? I liked the theoretical efficiency of being able to move from the middle or resize from the handles, but in practice it was quite difficult on small objects.

Download and install over the existing app worked.

Report it to them and go about your day? We have a workaround.

Could it be a conflict with another java interpreter? I think Macs are pretty immune to that sort of issue, but I don't really know how any of this works.

In the interest of eliminating any corrupted configs or whatever at my end, I dug in a little harder.
I uninstalled MSP, deleted everything in the MixingStation folder except the licenses, emptied the trash, and rebooted.
I installed 0.0.4(17), and searched my Qu32.
I went straight to App Settings and enabled MIDI.
I went to MIDI, added New device LaunchControl.
I went to Add Controller, and made Fader-1 control the Ch1 main fader.
I backed out and verified that that worked.
I went to Layouts and saved one called default.
Checked that MIDI still works.
I loaded default.
MIDI doesn't work.
Quit the app to a beachball.
I think I can safely say it's nothing special about my install.
No change on 0.0.4(17), Qu32 and LaunchControl.

I have always wanted a 0 dB button for channels and buses.

Tried on a 2008 Core2 Duo Macbook running 10.7.5 Lion. App reports that it needs 10.9 or later.

The name of this one should probably be changed, since it's not about layout import, it's about MIDI controllers.
OSX 0.0.4(16) now has a Quit menu item. Works fine without a MIDI controller.
However, if I have a controller plugged in and I open a mixer, either offline or connected, the Quit menu item beachballs MSP.

Same behavior on a 2009 Macbook 10.11.6,
The same reset function seems to center the pan correctly on Qu. At least as close as I can tell. I'm not sure it would display the equivalent of 0.2 dB applied to pan.
Ah, nope, that's the button press message itself being passed along.

Bome's says 127, 0x7F. It works on X-Air and X32. It makes -0.2 on GLD, Qu, SQ. Looks like SI doesn't have PEQ yet.

Another data point is that it works on Windows and on iPad.
What controller are you using that works?
I just created a new Twister config. Just 1 knob, Channel 1 fader w/ SOF.
Save as default.
Load again, still doesn't work, but no crash, so there is something hinky in my big Twister config.
But that's not why the MIDI stops working.
You're seeing that in crash logs dated just now? I definitely had bad data in my BCR config, but it wouldn't even load, and that was Saturday.
The issue was with the Learn function on a knob that is also a pushbutton. You have to be really careful not to turn it while or after pushing.
XR18, Macbook Air running 10.14.6, MSP 0.0.3(12), MIDI Fighter Twister or Behringer BCR or Novation Launch Control.
Search, connect, MIDI works.
Settings, MIDI, Folder, Default, Load, either full scope or just MIDI, MIDI doesn't send to MSP.
Settings, MIDI, Edit, Twister still shows as connected.
MSP still sends data to Twister or BCR.
Setting MIDI, folder, default, Load, MSP beachball crashes if Twister or Launch Control connected, not if BCR.
I just sent a couple fresh crash logs to Apple.
If I load default without the MIDI scope, everything is fine.

Either, I guess. It's actually something I could see using myself. In the heat of the moment, I have clicked on the wrong mixer.

same as T1607.
same as T1846.

Back out of MSP to the page where you connect to a mixer, hit the gear in the corner, and adjust the Scale slider. You'll have to adjust your layout afterwards.

Sorry, I was't clear. I'm looking for those parameters in the custom buttons. I'm building a universal 48 channel mixer controller around the MIDI Fighter Twister. I will edit the Task.
btw, when you're creating a task, you can assign it to Wishlist.
This is an interesting question. As someone who uses MSP with a number of different mixers, I would like the labels to be as consistent as possible whichever mixer I'm operating. Q vs BW is another example. Perhaps an option?

Ohh, pictures. Got no icon for images. Was that just a file upload?
Anyway, except on OSX, there's no place to put the file name.
Disconnecting from a mixer and coming back to it also kills MIDI input. Disconnecting again crashes MSP.
Same on 10.13. No problem if MIDI controller isn't connected.
Same version on Windows is also an Open dialogue box instead of a Save, but there's a place for the filename, the Open button is not greyed out, and it saves. Might be why it doesn't add the file extension, though.
There are no services offered in the window, it's just a limited OS file open menu, no sidebar or anything.
It's an Apple Macbook Air. I'm using the local file system.

which is to say, it's accurate. Low cut filters do that.

You should ask Keith to give you the plug-ins. It's the least they could do.

Says XM32 in the request.
A row of sends for the selected channel sounds very useful on large tablets.
Per channel is a lot of information. Sends is already an entire screen within the channel view, and some supported mixers have even more sends than the X32. Where would you put it?

Apple will let you maintain if your app is making noise, no? Does the noise have to be audible? Generate a quiet tone at 20 Hz or 20 kHz?

I like the idea. In your situation, though, I would just fix the tracks.

Ah. I'll have to pay attention. Might be happening more because there's no input. What's the difference between Ignore and OK in the popup?

Is there a layout called "default?" If so, delete it.

Maybe you could ghost the faders when they’re not actually relevant.
Ah, I see. I’m at an X32 now, and it behaves the same way. I think it’s confusing, but MSP should probably mimic the desk. Now I need to go back to the GLD and see if it’s doing the same thing. I don’t think it is, though. I think it just leaves the FOH mix on the faders. I think that’s a terrible design.
I don't think so. Look at the channel sends page in X32 edit 3.2. When you configure a send as a sub group, the fader goes away, and there's just a power switch. I'm at a desk in a few hours, I'll check it out and report back.

Ah, makes sense. Great to see progress, though. Thanks.
I love this idea. The only processor I've seen that does this is Lake.
confirmed same on iOS 1.0.2(20)

Getting there. If I solo on the desk, the RTA shows up in that channel on MSP 1.0.3 (22).
On the Qu version, any channel with PEQ displayed is auto-soloed. Not here.
Also, the Solo button doesn't appear in the channel strip when enabled.
There's just a blank space below the PEQ preview.

I was just coming here to ask for GEQ in the masters. It’s more important than you'd think ringing out monitors on a GLD, since the output HPF eats one of the 4 PEQ bands. Ideally, there would be a spectrum analyzer in that window, too.
